I am trying to create an alias for changing the current layer with the macro _-Layer _Current _List _Pause _Enter, but the dialog box for choosing a new layer is never displayed. I am clearly doing something wrong here, but I can’t figure out what exactly. I would appreciate if someone could help me out.
I also wonder why I have to choose a 'dimension layer’. What exactly is the dimension layer? I do not have to specify that one when I am changing to a new layer in the layer panel or through the status bar.
